Homestay

Homestay is a program which places students with Canadian families willing to accept students into their home. International students who wish to immerse in the language, culture and customs of Canada seek Homestay as their accommodation of choice. Homestays offer accommodation, meals and other benefits of family living. Students often stay with Homestay families for their entire stay in Toronto and make lifelong friendships which provide strong connections for years to come.

Study abroad doesn’t only mean to stay in school, but also to let students into mainstream society as quickly as possible and adapting to the local way of life. It is very diverse of Toronto’s homestay family. There are many native to the locals and migrants from all over the world. Our Toronto campus invited third-party service provider. They will rigorously scrutinized homestay family’s information for students, which including: the place of the host family; the distance between school and public transportation; driving distance, residential area, public activity area; the facility of the sitting room, dining room, kitchen and toilet; the size of the room of available for boarding, is there any indoor pets or does exist toxic substances; house advocate ethnic and professional background, family situation and even interests.

Homestay Benefits:

Homestay Price - $850 CAD/4 weeks

Off-Campus

Another accommodation option is to find an apartment or house off campus, either alone or with roommates. Apartment living offers privacy, independence and the chance to take on new responsibilities such paying your own utilities, taking the bus or driving to school, buying your own groceries and exploring your new community on your own.
